A Few Days After The Declaration of Prophethood

A few days after the declaration of prophethood

A few days after the prophethood, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was passing through a street in Mecca one night when he heard someone crying in a house. There was so much pain in the voice that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered this house. Saw a young man, who seems to be from Abyssinia, grinding a millstone and crying

When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him why he was crying, he told him that I am a slave. I graze my master's goats all day; and when I come home tired in the evening, my master gives me a sack of wheat to grind, which takes the whole night to grind. I am crying over my fate; what is my fate. I am also a flesh, and blood human being. My body also asks for rest; sleep bothers me, too; but my master does not pity me at all. Is it written in my destiny to live like this for the rest of my life?

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I cannot reduce your labor by telling your master, because he will not listen to me. Yes, I can help you a little by saying that you sleep, and I will grind the mill in your place." That slave was very happy and thanked him and went to sleep, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued to grind the mill in his place. When the wheat ran out, he returned without waking him. On the second day, he again visited there, tied the slave, and kept grinding the mill in his place. The same thing happened on the third day, as well, that you used to grind the mill all night in place of this slave and come back to your house quietly in the morning. On the fourth night when you went there, this slave said. O servant of Allah, who are you, and why are you thinking about me so much? No one has any fear or benefits from us, slaves. Then why are you doing all this?

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I am doing all this out of human compassion, except that I have no interest in you."

The slave said, "Who are you?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do you know that a person in Mecca has claimed prophethood?" The slave said yes. I have heard that a person named Muhammad calls himself the Prophet of Allah

He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that I am Muhammad. Hearing this, the slave said, "If you are that prophet, then teach me your word. Why can there be a prophet who is so compassionate and kind, who cares so much for slaves?"

The Prophet (peace be upon him) converted him to Islam by teaching him the word; then the world saw that this slave suffered hardships and hardships, but did not leave Daman Mustafa. It was permissible to kill him, but it was not permissible to leave the side of such a compassionate and kind prophet

Today the world knows him by the name of Bilal Habshi. The compassion and love of the Prophet (PBUH) made him an example to the world by making him a selfless slave!
