Golden Time with our granddaughter

Golden Time

I read an incident somewhere about a retired US government official. The officer received a call from the White House saying:

The officer immediately apologized. When the caller asked for the reason, he replied:

I'm going to the zoo with my granddaughter today...

Hearing this answer, the caller said in a harsh tone:

You are putting the zoo before the president

The retired officer politely replied:

No, I am putting my granddaughter's happiness before the President...

My love! When the caller asked for an explanation, the retired officer said

I'm sure the president will forget my name and even my appearance as soon as I leave the White House, while my granddaughter will remember this trip for the rest of her life. Why should I trade at a loss? Why should I not give this time to the granddaughter who will remember my face and my name for the rest of her life, who loves me, who is counting the hours for this day?

My friends! When I read this episode, I leaned back in my chair and closed my eyes for a long time, thinking that 99% of us, including myself, trade at a loss throughout our lives. We people always give the most precious moments of our lives to those people who do not have any time; we do not matter, for whom, it does not matter whether we are or not; who in our absence, there are others like us. Work with the person. I thought we were our heartbroken boss

We always give priority to our wife who opens the door for us and stays up until two, two o'clock to feed us hot food, we give priority to our unfaithful profession over our children who are a month after month receive our touch, our kindness, and Those who long for our voice, who see us only in albums and pictures, who grow up remembering us and who grow young waiting for us, but they don't get our closeness, we don't give them their rightful time.
